Emily, this mama elephant in the following video was once an orphan baby elephant at the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Kenya. She grew up in this sanctuary and was released in the wild after she reached the proper age to survive in the wild. After that, the volunteers of the sanctuary never heard from Emily. However, on December 23 of 2014 something incredible happened. Emily came back only to give birth to her baby. Emma, this newborn baby was instantly covered by mud by her mama and within seconds, Emily’s friends rejoiced and joined her to celebrate.
