Sangduen \u201cLek\u201d Chailert, who is the caretaker of all the elephants here, is also the founder of this Sanctuary. Throughout the years, she has made a special bond with her elephants but she is mostly attached to Faa Mai and Faa Mai loves her the most too. Whenever Faa Mai wants to sleep, Lek sings her favorite lullaby and Faa Mai falls in deep sleep in an instance.<\/p>\n
